My pottery is built from stoneware, porcelain and black clay. It is wheel thrown or hand built, then altered, carved and assembled.

Each piece is fired twice, once to make it manageable for decoration and a final firing to set glaze and brushwork.

All high-fired glazed work is lead-free, suitable for food, microwavable and dishwasher safe.

I also paint brushwork on handmade scrolls, clay frames and canvas using papers that include Mulberry unryu, Japanese Kingin Lace, rice paper and silk. Custom work with clay or paper is always welcome.
